<p class="summary">Belfast-based Coordinator Vernon Ringland welcomes you to YouthBank International's brand new digital publication.</p>
<p>At YouthBank International we are looking forward to a promising,
dynamic and invigorating 2014. With a renewed spring in our step, we are
putting into action the projects that we have developed and refined in 2013.
This year, after building solid foundations, we are ready to set up our stall
and showcase the fruit of our collaborations and internal work within and
outside our network.</p><p>Spreading our wings to reach all parts of the world
including the most isolated – is a primary objective this year. We will
use all the tools at our disposal to connect with YouthBanks and help our
YouthBanks to inter-connect – fostering the ability
of those most closely involved to strengthen their own work and to share what
they are learning.</p><p>Our new website, which will go live in April, will be
crucial to this process. Boasting a wide range of options accessible in a
flash, such as a blog, a members’ lounge, direct links to our social media
outlets, and to all existing YouthBanks’ contact, our website will be crucial to
develop communications within our network and support young people who may want
to create a YouthBank to support their local community. </p><p>Our new E-magazine, YouthBank International News, is part of
our drive to spread the word about our work, the benefits of YouthBank projects
to communities and self-development, and introduce inspirational stories from
local YouthBanks. </p><p>In this issue you will discover the process behind the
development of our new logo. You will also put a face to the name of each of
our executive and advisory members; for some of them, such as Agata and Adina,
you will even be able to access video and audio contents. Our e-magazine will
keep you updated with all our news and with your news if you would like to
share them with us. </p><p>So here is to us all, wishing you a wonderful new year! </p><p>Vernon </p>
