<div class="page old_photo"> <article> <header style="background-image:url(/uploads/530f6a1a37bef.jpg);"> <div class="box"> <div class="intro"> <h1>Executive Group - Erin Wright </h1> <p class="byline">Erin Wright </p> </div> </div> </header> <div class="main"> <div class="container"> <p class="summary">Erin Wright has been involved in YouthBank since 2000, as a young grant-maker in one of the original UK pilots, a local YouthBank Co-ordinator, a YouthBank UK Advisory Forum member and Chair of the YouthBank UK trustee board. </p> <p> Erin graduated from the University of Brighton in 2008 with a First in Applied Psychology and Criminology and has spent the last five years working in the voluntary sector within the UK focusing on active citizenship, charity governance, service user involvement, grant-making, campaigning, training, shared decision making in clinical practice and children and young people's active involvement. She is currently employed in the National Health Service, leading on children and young people's participation across a variety of services including mental health, learning disabilities and end of life care.</p><p> Erin has been volunteering from the age of 15 and as well as her role as a member of the YouthBank International Executive Group, she is currently volunteering with a local oral history/music project in East London and an initiative called 'Casserole Club' where volunteers cook meals for local residents who may not be able to cook for themselves.<br> <br> Erin's interests include conflict transformation, social justice and inequalities, community involvement and creative arts.</p> </div> </div> </article> </div><!-- /page-->
