The existing legacy infrastructure was hampering business and Wolseley knew it was “behind the curve" with technology. The impact was missed revenue and a potential drop off in market share over a prolonged period.</p><p>A single missed telephone call from a customer to a branch is believed to create a loss of revenue of circa £300 in sales. Wolseley believed that investment in Cisco technology would deliver the following business benefits:</p><p>1. Increase in revenue through removing “lost" business opportunities from missed customer interactions</p> <p>2. UCtel completed the full rollout of Project Connect to circa 660 locations. This included the delivery of 5 technical deliverables to each of the sites:</p> <ol><li><b>Site Infrastructure Changes </b>– Completed site audit, site re-cabling, equipment rack deployment, site power</li><li><b>Central Services Changes </b>– Cisco platform readiness assessment, implement site dial plan, site UCM/Unity configuration, wireless AP provisioning, Andtek directory population (VIP lists)</li><li><b>Cisco Voice Deployment </b>– Configure site specific Cisco UCM/Unity changes (extensions, voice mailboxes, hunt groups)</li><li><b>Site Equipment Deployment </b>– LAN switches, router local voice configuration (SRST), access points, SIP ringer, technology familiarisation</li><li><b>Delivery Completion </b>– Asset management (existing and new), deployment information supporting CMBD update, site sign off, documentation, transition to support readiness</li></ol> </div> <div class="card"> <h2> Contact Details </h2> <img src="/uploads/5564db7b3776e.png"> </div> </div> </section> </article> </div><!-- /page-->
