This unprecedented level of uptake is testimony to the innovative and early adoptive nature of those in school leadership. Children and teachers alike are avidly reaping the rewards of the highly interactive, multimedia rich, shared learning experience that Izak9 provides.

Republic of Ireland

Every school we have visited in ROI has immediately seen the value that Izak9 can add, so much so that we have had a 100% uptake to date. The extent to which Izak9 can be of benefit to schools and the current self-evaluation programme that focuses on the effective teaching and learning of mathematics, has not gone unnoticed by the Education Centre Directors: some are already planning to have Izak9 CPD delivered from their centres, beginning in September 2015.

Cross Border

Queens University and Trinity College Dublin have had a joint research project approved by SCOTENS (the Standing Conference on Teacher Education, North and South). The focus of this research will be to show that the use of Izak9 can alleviate the fears and trepidations associated with the learning of mathematics, in addition to showing that its use can raise attitudes and dispositions to the subject. The project will begin in the autumn of 2015.
