Several organisations and individuals contributed to make it possible. From culture and arts, to food, celebration, colour and the excitement of diversity, it was all there. It was my first Refugee Week as a member of the team at the Law Centre.

"In my few short months here I've been astounded by the quality of the work and the personal commitment of those who support refugees in our community. So it was right and proper that we got the opportunity to celebrate the successes of the past year, not the least of which was the extension of primary and secondary health care.

"The diversity of the programme was a reflection of the diversity among us. There were events for all ages, in all places, sharing the stories and cultures of those who have made their way to Belfast.

"Congratulations to Justin and NICRAS for such a terrific programme. We at the Law Centre were delighted to share the week with you."
