<div class="page traditional" style=" background-color: #fff; "> <article> <header> <h1 style=" color: #000;">Hastings Hotels Cookery Competition</h1> <p class="byline"> </p> </header> <div class="main"> <img src="/uploads/574596f3ef603.jpg" class="title-pic" alt=""/> <p class="summary" style=" color: #000;"></p> <p>Now in its third year,&nbsp;Hastings Hotels in partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College have developed a Chef Development Programme designed to facilitate the development of core and advanced cooking skills for chefs at all levels.&nbsp;In addition to the development of cooking skills, this programme has also been designed to develop an individual’s resource management and leadership skills.</p><p>The programme is delivered through a series of one day master workshops at the Belfast Metropolitan College Belfast and will include as part of the programme, Hastings Kitchen Culinary Skills training, Hastings Kitchen Management, Hastings Food Auditing, Hastings Food Provenance as well as practical assessment.&nbsp;</p><p>Recently chefs from across all six hotels took part in a final 'cook off' at&nbsp;Belfast Metropolitan College.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Congratulations to our final cook off winners;</strong></p><p>Commis Chef – Zoe Reid (Stormont Hotel)</p><p>Chef De Partie – Phil Mitchell (Culloden)</p><p>Sous Chef – Nathan Davidson (Europa Hotel)</p><p><img src="/uploads/574597024f43e.jpg"></p><h5>(photographed the Final cook off between the hotel chefs in Belfast Metropolitan College)</h5> </div> </article> </div><!-- /page-->
