COURSE SUMMARY

This is 100% hands-on event puts everything learned in the previous courses into action. Students are divided into teams of 3-4 individuals each. The teams compete with each other to find and exploit as many attacks as possible in a pre-setup vulnerable application.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS & PRE-REQUISITES

Mandatory Prerequisites: Writing Secure Code – SS201, SS202 or SS203
Recommended Prerequisites: Security Testing for Engineers – SS401
Intermediate to expert understanding of the web as well as the HTTP protocol.
Intermediate to expert experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, etc
Understanding of basic principles of the Java language.
Students are required to bring their own laptops with a minimum of 8 GB RAM installed.
