Trust and credibility play a huge role in your ability to close sales and capture new leads. Without those things, you will struggle to convince people that your business is the right choice for them.
If you want to influence the buying decision of potential clientele, spreading the praise of happy clients is a perfect way of establishing yourself as a proven, trustworthy company.
One concern people often have when selecting a company is related to the company's experience and ability to achieve the result they're looking for.
Testimonials, as we just talked about, are a great way to build trust, though you can take this one step further by posting before-and-after photos of recent projects. Just by showing them where others came from and where they are now helps PROVE to them that you have the knowledge and experience to achieve this for them as well.
Businesses that establish a closer relationship with their clients tend to see an increase in Customer Retention.
A great to way build these closer relationships is to open up the doors to what goes on behind the scenes. You can accomplish this in a variety of ways, but here are a few examples:
Whether you know it or not, people are interested in learning about how to take care of their property - even though they may not have time to actually do it themselves.
They appreciate when businesses go out of their way to provide value or resources, before they begin asking for something in return. Not only will they trust you more, but this is a great display of your experience.
It will also change the way people think about their lawn. For example, if they see brown spots in their yard, they may immediately write it off and say "guess I've got to water my yard some more."
But, if you create a post discussing likely causes of a browning lawn (ex: pests or lack of nutrients), you will gain the attention of those who have lawns that are browning and increase the chances they come to you for help, because you've taken the time to explain why this happens.
At the end of the day, people love deals and promotions! It's a great way for businesses to turn tire-kickers into new clients because you can use these promotions to create urgency.
Just remember, when you run a promotional post, urgency and exclusivity is key. If people feel you'll be running this deal again soon, it'll diminish the value of your special.
Facebook is great for businesses. But, like any social platform, the number of distractions and things battling for peoples’ attention makes it really difficult for businesses to turn post/ad viewers into leads.
In order to maximize the results you get on Facebook, it needs to be easy for people to contact you. Only allowing people to call you doesn't cut it anymore, especially on social media.
Ex: “Call us today for a free quote @ 972-###-####”
People are there to socialize with friends and family, it's highly unlikely that they will stop what they're doing and call you - but, that doesn't mean they aren't interested in what you're offering.
In order to capture leads on Facebook, we give them the option to text us. Now, instead of calling us, they just send us a quick text. It's a win-win, you get their contact information, they get to go back and continue browsing Facebook within seconds.
Ex: “CALL or TEXT US @ 972-###-#### for a free quote”
If you’re using a product like ScheduleTalk, you can take this one step further with text-able keywords that trigger specific automations. For example, if your set keyword was “IRRIGATION,” you can simply say:
Ex: “TEXT `IRRIGATION` to 972-###-#### for a free quote”
From there, the software would automatically pre-qualify the lead before your team ever needs to get involved.
