Welcome to Want to Hear God? Connect with Him in Prayer Journal. Designed especially for you, this journal will allow you to capture your prayer conversations with God.
Welcome to Want to Hear God, Connect with Him In Prayer Journal, designed especially for you to capture your desires and hear God in new and abundant ways to live a life that matters.
Remember, though, this is a book to be savored. Take as much time as you need so you can hear God and develop that intimate relationship with Him.
The book shares actual prayer conversations that people like you and me have had with God.
Get glimpses of His loving heart as you explore the practices that let you grow into a closer relationship with Him.
Use this journal and take your time to be fully present as you capture your own conversations with God.
The prayer practices show you new, every day praying-as-you go connections in talking to God.
Another downloadable free resource available to you are scripture cards matching each chapters. You can immerse yourself in His words all day long - in your car, on your mirror, by your chair.
I am so excited you have chosen this journey with God. The book Want to Hear God? Connect with Him in Prayer is the result of a conversation I had with Him when He whispered, "Share My prayers with My People."
As a guide to walk alongside you and author of the book, I am a certified spiritual director, with a two-year training certification from Sustainable Faith. I have walked with Jesus for more than forty-five years, and love helping others listen for His voice.
However, my healing from depression and anxiety from healing prayer ignited my passion to share His prayers. I've been on a mission since then to have conversations with God, building that close relationship. Life with Him matters. He has guided me to more abundant living, as well as support others who seek to hear His voice.
The joys of my life are four littles, my three granddaughters and one grandson. What a challenging time for all of us to stay connected! My husband of over forty-five years and I have zoomed and connected with them outdoors in as many ways possible to hear their laughter and feel their joy.
This journal is designed with multiple learning styles in mind. For each chapter of the journal you will find:
1. An introduction to the chapter that goes with the chapter of the book.
2. Scripture readings that enhance the prayer conversations. These scriptures are available to download as free resource cards at NancyBBooth and can be used as encouragements throughout your week.
3. A box to reflect/answer Questions to Ponder/Action that come after the prayer conversation in each chaper.
Since this is in box format, you may wish to do dot journaling, draw, add random phrases, - just capture your prayer conversations. Or you may use your own journal and use this one as a guide.
4. The next box is designed for your actual practicing of the prayer practice itself. What do you want to note about the practice? For example, with the breath prayer, you might write down several breath prayers to explore.
If you need more space to doodle, write and reflect, use the back page of your paper or use your own journal.
5. For auditory learners, consider recording your observations and use this journal as a bookmark as you go along. Giving titles to your chapters will help you track.
