Congratulations, on taking the first step to making improvements in your life. Linkedin can introduce you to new opportunities and connections. Follow the simple steps in this workbook and you will be well on your way to increasing your network and getting the most from the platform.
This workbook will help you to keep tasks organised and provide you with a road map for making changes to your profile. Treat it as a little assistant giving you a gentle nudge to complete steps and help you get started
If I was to give one tip and one tip only , it is to be authentic and genuine when reaching out to people. Don't send a generic automated Linkedin request. Take time to craft a message that is authentic. Appreciate the person you are connecting with doesn't want to be bored with an invitation from a stranger. Prove that you know them, mention where you met. If you don't know them explain why you'd like to connect.
If you want to reach out to me. Add the term "This is a generic request, I don't care who you are". I will know you at least read this.
