As you can see, you definitely need to know the specific concept of weighted average or else you will make the mistake of confusing the concept of average.

If taste is a score of 84 and weighted at 75% and presentation is a score of 68 and weighted at 25%, you would answer the question by the simple calculation below.

Pat's overall grade = (0.75)(84) + (0.25)(68) = 80. So, in this case, it is clear that the answer is D!
