• Get the name and number of the requesting detective.

• Ask if there are any known Officer Safety Concerns.​

• Ask if there is any known background on the occupants of the vehicle.​

• Ask if there are children in the vehicle? ( Mandatory reporting issues)​

• Ask if the information for the Wall Stop is derived from a wire (State or Federal)​

​

• Ask if there is a specific Prosecutor on board? (Notify the DA/AUSA/CA )​

​

• Think about how to write the: PC declaration – the report- 1040 claim in court​

​

• Make sure the issuing DA/Prosecutor is aware of the wall​

​

• Inform every prosecutor you go to court with that this is a wall case​
