About This Document

Welcome to the neuro atypical mind of the Cultural Contrarian. I titled this document as "Love Thy Neighbor" to model my worldview on how we all as individuals can take ownership of our actions and be better prepared for the multitude of potential consequences.

This is the best way I could come up with to share my thoughts, ideas, strategies and experience in a manner to meet people where they are.

Nothing I state anywhere has the intention of being judgmental, accusatory, nor do I desire to trigger anyones emotions.

Through this document I will be introducing various formats in which I communicate embracing a "Love Thy Neighbor" approach focusing on Educating - Equipping and Empowering all citizens. My sincere goal is to meet everyone where they are. Giving everyone the ability to first, get a glimpse, to aid in making a more informed decision.

It is up to you to determine if you want to turn to the next page. So, allow me to ask one question which may guide your decision.

Are you satisfied with what the future will hold for your family, children, grandchildren based upon the trajectory of our legislators, our judges, law enforcement, employers, and public servants?

If you answered yes, I am certain what Cultural Contrarian would share would be uncomfortable to consume and attempt to reason through and I suggest it might not be a journey for you.

Educate > Equip > Empower

We all have created an understanding of a Social Contract. This is our expectation of all the relationships we navigate through life, and these expectations govern how we give, or communicate with others. These expectations are also projected onto others on how they should receive what we give, and how they should give in return. These expectations vary from individual to individual, roles within society along with the different authority figures within society.

Nurses, Doctors, Employers, Lawyers, Judges, Sheriff, School Boards, and many more.

Unfortunately, our expectations are often built upon what we think, hope or wish they should be. Where we are reluctant to accept or acknowledge, that our expectations my not be actually real.

Mask mandates, V@X passports, election irregularities, risk of job loss for not participating in a medical experiment, being trespassed or arrested for simply speaking, financial anxiety tied to inflation or fiscal irresponsibility of others and so much more.

The above are just a few examples of stressors or contentious topics which are fueling fear and anxiety across our entire country. The sad truth is, that it is going to continue and get worse. It has often said, "those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it's mistakes."

CC understands that many do not enjoy the exercise of studying history, or have much time to explore, how did we get here and how to we get back to being free.

Our goal is to meet you where you are. You get to decide if it is important or not and determine your own prioritization on the degree or magnitude of importance.

What most have been doing.

The above image represents the typical go-to strategies which people have used to express themselves. This usually results in joining any variety of groups, of similarly minded individuals focused on a particular issue. These groups pop-up all over the place and some are very effective in certain domains. But one thing is common through all of these groups. They are filled with countless individuals where only 1-2% are truly doing the heavy lifting to achieve meaningful change.

Why?

This might be tough to hear. Because the change they desire is nearly impossible due to the way the system and process has been designed. Some find this out early, others it takes years or decades.

Our ability to be free is predicated two foundational pieces, which are distinct dividing lines which we can accept or attempt to argue.

How did we get where we are today?

It helps to understand that the rule of law which we live under today didn't just happen. No need to complain about why, or how come. It's either accept to live under the terms, and the new direction or learn the rules and be free. Above is an eBook created by Cultural Contrarian which has been provided to his Private Members.

Foundation

I don't want to dive into a philosophical debate, but simply make to a few hypothesis statements for you to consider for your own foundation. As CC's approach to Educate > Equip > Empower will share their foundation through teaching.

Is it true, absent of the Divine, no objective standard for good exists.
The nature of humanity can be a base of good, with the occasion to be wicked, or have a base in being wicked and can be good?
Do humans restrain being either good or wicked?
Does a moral objective standard exist?
Where or when did the immaterial laws of nature which govern a material existence appear?

I know, these questions very much smell of philosophy, or what I would submit, create the scaffolding around an individuals worldview. Unfortunately, in my life walk, these questions are never really part of a bar room conversation, a half-time discussion, or even a travel lay-over interaction. I get it, some would even suggest that this would be relegated to a Sunday morning message.

But here is my proposition, and it's really quite simple.

Do we believe we have learned everything we have needed to learn?

Is it possible that what we claim to know as being true might actually be false?

Am I willing to risk hearing something is false and go on a journey to seek truth?

Personal Private Journey

If you took a moment to really process the previous questions, where you arrived is your own, personal, private view of yourself and the world. Let's call that the "worldview". The key is to determine if your "worldview" is logically consistent, and can be applied across all societies, all countries, all governments. Is your world view consistent, or is it situationally fluid.

I ask this question for one reason. We live in a world that is saturated in moral relativism, has double standards and is infected with hypocrisy. We all have a gift to identify the hypocrisy in others and are even better at shielding, denying or even lying about our own hypocrisy.

Right now, you are probably sitting there saying, where is he going, what is his point? Allow me to just be very direct.

We all are responsible for the decisions we make, along with the consequences we may realize.
We can live by avoiding responsibility and blame others.
We can explore how to make better decisions for the benefit of our family, children and our future.

The primary messaging around CC is about Educate > Equip > Empowering ourselves. But to what end?

By learning how to reclaim freedom, standing in and on our constitutional rights.

The United States of America and the formation of it's Constitutional Republic has been the single most successful social experiment on the planet through all of recorded history. At the same time, history has proven that such experiments have a lifetime and eventually get snuffed out. It is my opinion, that being Free is only going to remain for those who claim it with their actions.

Freedom isn't for everyone.

If we can dive back into our memories of history, we can recall societies which we would classify as not being free. Imagine the ancient builders of the pyramids under the rule of Pharaoh's. We would naturally condemn that as slavery. But if we read or watched the story of Moses and the Exodus, the Israelites complained about their freedom and constantly wanted to return to the protection, and sustenance of the Pharaoh.

A modern correlation is those that have chosen careers where they are given orders to follow, or maybe are dependent upon the State to provide for them. This affords them a personal degree of comfort, security, at a cost which they are willing to accept.

I offer no judgement or ascribe any particular position to anyone in society as everyone's personal circumstances are their own, and they would claim they have made their best choice at a particular time.

We are humans and strive for shelter, food, clothing and differing degrees of comfort and reward. We may have similar biology but we all have different psychology. Our individual psychology, we may have learned in middle or high school is a combination of heredity and environment. We can't change our heredity, but we have a modest ability to alter our environment.

If we want to take steps to having a better life, being free, not only for ourselves, but a future for our children, we won't break free of our genetics. However, we can shift our environmental position. We can re-engage our own brain to learn or relearn (educate), that learning can be put into practice (equipping), then we can increase our courage to begin being active (empowered).

At this point, I may have lost some people, so let me take a few steps back.

Going super Slow.

I offer my apologies for the manner in which I communicate, for this is part of my heredity challenge, clearly communicating.

My goal is to try to meet people where they are, and I assume we all are reasonably intelligent. I have overcome my own affliction of ignorance, and am comfortable admitting I don't know what I don't know. I am also comfortable being said "You're Wrong". Those words might sound biting, but I have a process in which I hear and process those words. Usually to a more productive result, I might add.

In my attempt to meet people where they are, I begin that journey in a manner which people can have some distance, anonymity and can participate, communicate, digest or ignore.

Cultural Contrarian has a public Facebook Page. Anyone can visit, scroll through and comment.

Facebook is NOT a private nor secure platform. It is actually quite dangerous (CC teaches how to be safe, private, secure, online). For that reason our messaging is intended to be valuable and thought provoking, but will not be in great detail when presented on others platforms. Social media platforms are heavily censored and pseudo "fact-checked" where CC messaging is shadow banned from public view.

If something resonates with you on our FB channel, liking, sharing and comment is the only way our messaging can gain visibility.

Internet Safety

Digitally immersed lives are just the new normal. However, very few understand the depths of risks and dangers living connected online. As an adult, many figure it out as they go. But kids benefit from the watchful eye of parents who know, vs figure it out. This is another eBook produced by Cultural Contrarian when he was rescuing kinds from all sorts of unimaginable horrors online.

Cultural Contrarian will be hosting podcasts. The show will have public messaging, and messaging just available to PMA members.

Interactive hosted video discussions

Cultural Contrarian has and will continue to facilitate group discussions with individuals or groups on a particular mission. We anticipate that this will move to a more scalable delivery where we will host, leadership specific messaging. Zoom sessions are for PMA members only. On occasion CC will host Zoom's on specific topics which may require a fee to participate. These may be public, with a discount to PMA members.

Educational Collection

Collection of lessons, videos, presentations and more. This is an optional part of the PMA membership, access to all of the material available at time of subscription.

In addition, members will be grandfathered from future price increases with the benefit of additional materials being added.
