1. So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you. Take your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking around life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. ~ Romans 12:1
Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings out the best in you, develops well-formed maturity in you. ~ Romans 12:2
Have you ever thought of your eating and exercising habits as a form of worship? As you really think on this thought, it will bring a perspective change.
The NLT makes it even more emphatic: “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice — the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him.”
Let’s also look at the second verse in Romans 12: “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

2. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which
Have you considered the price that was paid? It is the highest price tag ever placed on anything. The Message Translation is one of my favorites:
“Or didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit?
I Corinthians 6:19-20 Message
3. Does not my word burn like fire? says the Lord. “Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces.” ~Jeremiah 23:29
How I love this scripture. I found it years ago when our son was going through some stubborn teenage years. It is magnificent for building faith in breaking any rock of stubborn resistance in your life. How about breaking the rock of stubborn resistance in your self-control with eating?

4. Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of HOPE. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you. NKJV
~ Zechariah 9:12
Hope is so very important. Had you ever thought of becoming a prisoner of hope?
What trouble do you have today that you might activate faith for with this scripture of two blessings in place of this trouble?
Begin with baby steps and think on progress and not perfection. Take on the "I Can Attitude." With God all things are possible. Uncover the thieves that have been stealing your hope.
Make a list of 7-10 possible thieves: negative drainers and select the top three to catch. Replace these thieves, such as specific thoughts of defeat and failure that you notice try to invade your mind consistently. Replace them with scripture promises.
Hebrews 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the [Presence] behind the veil.
"Hope is the anchor of my soul. I live in joyful, alert, prayerful expectancy of good things."

Hope Faith Prayer
The website is hopefaithprayer.com
We all have times of great need for strength of scriptures on "faith, hope, and prayer". The beauty of this website is that it contains a wide assortment of writers, who are heroes of faith; some living and some already gone on to be with the Lord.
I have read the works of many of these authors: John G. Lake (famous for his Healing Schools in an earlier century), Smith Wigglesworth, (an ordinary plumber with faith to raise the dead .....and he did.)
E.W. Kenyon (an amazing mighty man of faith), Kenneth E. Hagin (someone I saw in person at several meetings, whose works we read and studied in our early years with the Lord). And there are so many more there.

Whatever You Do
5. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of the Lord.
~I Corinthians 10:31
It is thrilling to realize that as we go about our simple routines, we can easily glorify the Lord and let Him know we love Him. Just imagine how you are bringing a smile to His face.
Food is not our master. Jesus Christ is our Master. Just like money, food is good. It is a gift from God if placed in its rightful place. However, it can become a dominating, cruel master if our love for it becomes a priority over our love and pursuit of Jesus.
Deuteronomy 30:19 tells us that God has given us the divine privilege and responsibility to make a choice. He has set before us life and death, blessing and cursing. The choice is ours.
"Choose Jesus and your mind will be renewed. Choose Jesus and your life will be transformed. Continue in His Word; you shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free!" ~ Kenneth Copeland, The Decision is Yours

All things are lawful, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful, but not all things build up. ~1 Corinthians 10:23 New International Version (NIV)
The Believer’s Freedom
23 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.

6. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, SELF- CONTROL; against such things there is no law. ~ Galatians 5:22-23
Don’t you love gifts? I do. When we think of Self-Control as a gift, it brings a new perspective to us. It is ours as believers. However, as with all of God’s gifts and promises, this, too, must be activated by faith. (For without faith, it is impossible to please God. ~ Hebrews 11:6
Is this a gift you desire to have? Begin thanking the Lord that you have it now byfaith, because He has provided it for you. As you think on this thought, you will move closer tothe reality . We tend to move toward and become like that which we think about most.
7. Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of Hosts. ~ Jeremiah 15:16
“Heart” - as I looked up this particular word as it is used in this passage, I found it to mean “feelings, will and even intellect.” As you and I read, meditate and memorize God’s word, it becomes a source of joy and delight to our heart (emotions, will and even intellect.)
