Don't settle for the status quo when you can live your dreams
Congratulations on downloading this eBook. My hope is that by following the simple steps contained in it, you can create a more fulfilling life.
The two keys to changing your life are to understand that (1) change can only happen in the present moment and (2) the most profound change is made of small steps.
The good news is that you can start where you are and begin the process of changing your life for the better. Today.
These steps work. I know, because my transformed life is based on them. They work for me. I know they can work for you.
Let's get started!
You can't get to where you want unless you have a destination in mind. Whether you think your goals are feasible is not important. Your job here is to write down what you long for and not worry about how and when it might happen. That's not your job.
Write down all the goals you have for your life even if they seem unrealistic or unattainable. Just put them down on paper rather than letting them bounce around your head.

It's time to narrow down your list by picking the one goal from your list you'd most like to happen now if that were possible. Focus on what you desire most and not the logistics of how you think it's possible or not.

Awesome start! Now take this goal and break it down into a smaller specific goal that feels doable to you. This goal will become the starting point for using this eBook to ultimately manifest your larger goals.

Common Goals
It can be reassuring to know that a goal you have for your life is a goal many other people have for their lives.
Among the goals I have helped people achieve are:
1. Stopping an addictive behavior/improving health and well-being
2. Going to school to earn a degree
3. Improving self-esteem
4. Finding meaning and purpose in life
5. Improving relationships
6. Feeling better about themselves
7. Starting/growing a business
The good news is that if it is possible for others to achieve these goals, it is possible for you too.
Once we signal our willingness to grow, the Universe always reciprocates. Rather than try to figure out how to accomplish your goal, do some meditating on it and see what kinds of inspired thoughts come up about next steps you could take. Be aware that these ideas might come from other people or just pop up out of the blue.
Write down all the inspired thoughts that come up. Do not censor any ideas that come your way based on whether you think they are reasonable or possible. Let go of making judgments. Just put them on paper to give them a chance to grow.

Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.
Carol Burnett
The old saying "Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes" is true. Dreaming about making changes in your life without taking any action toward that change is just that, dreaming.
The good news is that you can take baby steps if you want. This is a great way to manage the anxiety that comes from letting go of the security of the status quo while you work toward achieving your dreams.
Major life changes are the result of these small steps. Focus on doing the next right thing rather than on the end result. One step after another is what you are striving for.
The key is to take action now. Not someday. Not tomorrow. Not soon. Now!
I transformed my life one baby step at at time. So can you.
What inspired action(s) can you take toward your goal?

Give yourself credit for the actions, no matter how large or small, you take toward achieving your goal. In the spaces next the the boxes below, write down all the inspired actions you can take. When you take an action, place a check mark in the box.
Keep the energy moving. Don't be discouraged. Banish doubt. You can do it!
Marie Curie
Give yourself a big pat on the back for the progress you've made so far. You can increase your likelihood of success by having positive people who support your efforts behind you.
We all can get discouraged at times. Progress seems slow. Self-doubt creeps in. Well-meaning people, often family and friends, will provide feedback that validates your fear. They may provide lots of "realistic" feedback about why you can't succeed. Don't let them stop you.
You might find yourself making lots of excuses. I'm too old. I don't have enough money. I don't have the time. I knew it wouldn't work. I'm not smart enough. You get the picture. Remember, no matter how persuasive or reasonable to you they might seem, in reality they are just fear-based stories you are telling yourself.
Who do you know that can a source of support?

I know it is possible from my own experience that you can change your life for the better no matter how bad the circumstances of your life. There is always hope, even if you don’t see it.
On July 7, 1982 my life radically changed. After years of struggling with problems with alcohol and panic attacks, I hit bottom. Hard. Instead of remaining in the black hole of despair, I was propelled into a brand new life that I never could have imagined. I have been sober for over 36 years and have helped many people achieve their goals.
