MAKING IT HAPPEN

You'll need a budget to cover presenters, facilitators, travel and accommodation with additional experts as required.

Role of community organiser:

Identify lead organisations and potential community leaders.

Clarify modules and audiences. Survey for expressions of interest if uncertain.

We will help to identify community potential and initiate conversations with project activators.

Identify up to three venues and promote widely.

Agree any pre-workshop resources needed and we will work with you, project activators and community leaders to ensure knowledge is distributed and the most interested participants came to the workshops prepared.

Identify councillors, elected members, senior staff and we will help prepare briefing material in order to raise interest in community energy.

Measuring Outcomes

  • Raising awareness in your community - audiences reached.
  • Activating projects - commitments and progress check in 1 year.
  • Local skills, capacity and knowledge - ongoing engagement.
